Jason Ortíz
Hey there. My name is Jason Ortiz and I
am a college student in Criminal Justice at Florida
International University. My goal in the near future is to
belong to a K9 unit with the DEA or other justice
department. I had heard about the role of the Belgian
Malinois in law enforcement and was anxious to see them
work. During a vacation in Puerto Rico I went to see Lee
during one of his exhibitions. What an impressive dog!! I
immediately thought, I want one of those. I went to Winstar
Nightwatch Kennel in search of not only a dog but also the
knowledge I was missing in order to see how I could use this
dog in the future. Mr. Tomas Irizarry, the breeder, talked
to me about the Malinois and the concept of the Working Dog.
I saw the litter and selected my pup. Valcor, that’s his
name, is all I wanted in a dog. He is large, strong and has
a very stable temperament. I know that with training, he
will become a great dog for drug searches or other police
work. I thank Winstarpr for their great line and the help
that have given me with Valcor.

Anibal Ruíz
Hello. My name is Anibal Ruiz. I
am an Agronomist by profession but I have always had dogs for
security in my home. My current dog was getting older and I knew
it was time to invest in a new dog. I wanted to get a puppy that
I could enjoy and train to protect my home. I heard about
Winstar Nightwatch Kennel through a family member and decided to
check the dogs out. The breeder, Tomas Irizarry, talked to me
extensively about the Belgian Malinois breed. He talked to me
about their drive, speed, stamina and intelligence. I had no
idea until then that these dogs were being used for police work.
The proof of what I was told became clear when I saw the stud
dog Lee working. I was able to look at all his pups and fell in
love with Aquima. She is strong, agile and has this glow about
her when she works. I have of ten been in touch with Tomas since
the purchase. He has helped me through her obedience training
and she is getting ready for protection work. I am truly happy
with the purchase I made and the support that Winstar Nightwatch
Kennel has given me in the training and care of my new Belgian
Malinois.
