Winstar Nightwatch Kennel - First Novice Decoy class

Winstar Nightwatch Kennel recently graduated its’ first Novice Decoy class. This course offered 40 hours of intensive training on the knowledge and skills required of a Decoy for the working dog. The course included information on canine history, anatomy and psychology. It covered from the evaluation of the dog, use of cloth, tug, sleeves and finally the bite suit. The students were tested and certified utilizing the American Working Dog Association (AWDA) standards for the Decoy.

All students did an outstanding job and will continue working with us to obtain the Training and Master Decoy AWDA certifications.
